Project 1

Back To Our Roots.
Students are required to form a group of 2 and gather information about both families. After that, students need to do a A2 size infographic timeline board to show the information gathered. We are required to do a 10 minutes video to represent the history of our families.  Besides, students need do an individual A5 book about the culture that practice in own family.

Objectives: 
1. To explore to the genealogy through research and analysis
2. To study the change of human living from past to present
3. To develop skills in gathering information and synthesizing relevant information into a concise presentation.

Throughout this project, I have learn about my family history. I know how my family move to Malaysia and also their difficulties & challenges faced while they were new in this place. I know that I should appreciate everything that given my grandparents. Besides, I know how to make a infographic timeline board. Thanks to my lecturer for giving me a chance to do this project.

Project 2

Students are required to form a group of 5 and students are also given a movie. Students are required to watch the movie given and pick 2 important plot from the movie and have a performance on the presentation day. Besides, students are required to do a A5 booklet to show the further the information about the character in the movie.

Objectives:

To examine the similarities and differences between Eastern and Western civilizations.

Throughout this project, I learn how to make a stop motion video. Thanks to our group members for giving much cooperative to complete this project perfectly, much appreciated. Besides, I learn the culture of China and also Japan, I learn their way to control the politics and how they control the residents because of their power throughout the movie. I enjoyed this project as it was fun and relax throughout the whole project. Thanks for the project.


Final Project:Art + Architecture + Culture
In this final project, students are required to go to literature research on places of interest of own site visit. From the literature review, students need to study the theme given and its connection between the historical, architectural and social aspects of the place. Students are also require to design a graphical expression of own findings in a concise graphical book. The book will create awareness and educate the audience on the subject matter or focus of the study.

Reflection:

Throughout this project, I went through many religious places, such as St. Mary, Thean Hou Temple, Hindu Temple and also Masjid Negara. These places are less visited by me during my own free time. I enjoyed this project as it is fun because I get to visit and take photos. I saw how people pray to their own god. Their reality and sincere had touched me. Besides, I learn how to design a coffee table book. It require certain techniques to produce a good and quality coffee book. Thanks to my lecturer, I had fun in this project. I hope there is another chance for me to do certain project like this again!
